Gary D. Conley is the CEO of SolFocus. Prior to founding SolFocus and orchestrating both the technical and business elements of its global collaboration, Gary was at the helm of corporations in a variety of sectors ranging from renewables research (H2Go), semiconductor test equipment (EPRO, Credence Corporation, GuideTech), Singapore based semiconductor equipment distribution (Engage), and real time flight intelligence services. Gary brings a wide breadth of cross industrial, technical and scientific knowledge to bear on his leadership of SolFocus enabling world-class technical and commercial advances. |
Mark Crowley, President, SolFocus, Inc.

Mark Crowley joins SolFocus from Lockheed Martin Space Systems where he was VP of West Coast Operations. He brings over 25 years of technical and program management experience including time at Lockheed Martin where he served as VP of Technical Operations, VP of Programs and Subcontracts, as well as VP and Program Director of the company's SBIRS program, a highly technical program utilizing some of the same technologies such as non-imaging optics which are used in SolFocus solar systems. He began his career at General Electric and then GE/Martin Marietta Astro Space. He has a BS in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, and holds an MS degree in Management through the Stanford Sloan Program. |
Eugenia Corrales, VP of Engineering

Eugenia Corrales has extensive engineering and operations senior management experience across a variety of product areas, in both large and entrepreneurial companies. Prior to joining SolFocus Eugenia founded SunModular to produce PV products with a focus on overall system performance. Before founding that company she was with Cisco Systems for over 7 years, serving most recently as VP of Product Operations and prior to that VP of Manufacturing Operations and VP of Manufacturing Technology. She was also with Hewlett Packard for 10 years in engineering, development, and
manufacturing roles. |
Christian Herrero de Egana y Daucik, VP of Sales, SolFocus Europe, Inc.

Christian Herrero de Egana y Daucik brings 13 years of business experience in International Commerce and Relations. Christian joins SolFocus where he is responsible for European Sales and Business Development from Isofoton where he served as the Deputy International Commercial Director (VP International Division) with direct responsibility for sales and business development in Africa, Asia, Middle East, US and Latin America. He has a wealth of experience in working and managing relationships with public and government sectors and large key accounts and has accredited experience in negotiations and management of multi-disciplinary teams in international business environments. Christian has a B.S. with Honours from the University of Oxford. |
Roberto de Diego Arozamena, Managing Director, SolFocus Europe, Inc.

Roberto has over 25 years of management expertise and a proven track record in building profitable organizations, working in multinational companies with international responsibility, and launching and expanding new businesses. As managing director he leads the activities of SolFocus Europe including business development, field operations, acquisitions and external growth, and organizational development. Prior to joining SolFocus, Roberto was with Dica Consultores, S.L and Goya Partners, S.L. where he was a partner in these professional services companies. Prior to that he served as President of BT Europe, President of Sales & Service Worldwide of BT Ignite, was CEO of BT Telecommunicaciones, S.A., and Vice President of EMEA Networking Solutions for NCR. He received a BSEE from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. |
Jason Ellsworth, VP and General Manager of Glass Works

Jason Ellsworth brings a broad range of management and business development skills to SolFocus where he is responsible for the company's glass operations, a critical element in the company's technology. Prior to joining SolFocus, Jason was with Corning Inc. for over seven years, most recently as Director of New Business Development. In this capacity he was responsible for the company's technical materials businesses including Display Components, Specialty Materials, Lighting Materials, Photonic Materials and Specialty Fiber. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School. |
Nancy Hartsoch, VP Corporate Marketing

Nancy Hartsoch, a 25-year technology marketing veteran, is responsible for the company's product marketing, collaborative partnerships, marketing services and business development activities. Prior to joining SolFocus she was CEO of Pacific Technology Group which she co-founded in 1994 in partnership with Taiwan-based Acer Labs Inc. (ALi) to provide marketing, sales and applications engineering to launch an existing product line into the global market. She was the COO and VP of Marketing and Sales for Ali USA for five years, during which time she built the sales, marketing and engineering organization, and led the company in achieving design wins at top PC manufacturers. Prior to that she was Director of Marketing for Appian Technology and spent five years as a marketing/sales consultant for venture-backed start-up companies. She began her technology marketing career at American Microsystems where she spent seven years in a variety of positions, lastly as Director of Marketing Services. |
Steve Horne, Chief Technical Officer

Steve Horne's technical and entrepreneurial background spans multiple disciplines including power generation and transmission, semiconductor test equipment design and manufacture as well as research in advanced renewables technology. Before co-founding SolFocus, Steve was the Director of Engineering at GuideTech, a leading semiconductor test equipment company, and had previously spent six years running a technology consulting firm known as Tuross Technology. He served as Vice President of Engineering at Ariel Electronics, where he was responsible for acquisition of company funding as well as integration of engineering disciplines ranging from mechanics, software, electronics and chemistry. His early-career experience includes commissioning two 500MW steam generated power plants in New South Wales, Australia. |
Ty Jagerson, VP Corporate Development

Ty Jagerson brings a broad range of domestic and international technology business experience to his role as VP Corporate Development. Prior to SolFocus, Ty was Principal of Business Development for Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), where he led commercialization activities and strategic initiatives. At PARC, he co-founded the CleanTech Initiative, and founded the Technology Markets Forum, a collaboration with Stanford, UC Berkeley, NASA Ames, Lawrence Livermore Labs and IBM. Prior to PARC, Ty was President of PCG, a technology consulting firm in Ukraine. Ty has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from Wesleyan University. He speaks fluent Russian and has worked professionally in
15 countries. |
Robert Legendre, VP Operations

Bob Legendre brings 25 years of global experience in all aspects of operations management including supply chain, operations, captive and contracted offshore manufacturing, NPI operations, research, and engineering development to his position as VP of Operations. Prior to joining SolFocus, Bob was Senior VP Global Operations for Powerwave Technologies. He has also held VP positions in operations and materials management with InFocus Corporation, Pemstar Corporation and Western Digital, where he managed operations in many global locations including Singapore and Malaysia. He also served as Director of Supply Chain Management for Emulex Corporation. Bob has a B.S. in Business from LaSalle University. |
Bob Raybuck, VP Finance and Administration

Bob Raybuck brings 25 years of general management, finance and operations experience in the technology industry to his position as Vice President, Finance and Administration at SolFocus. For 17 years, Bob held a variety of senior management positions with Hitachi Data Systems where he served as both Vice President and CFO for Hitachi’s Server Line of Business, as well as Vice President of Finance for both U.S. and International Operations. Prior to SolFocus, Bob was President and CEO of GuideTech, a leading semiconductor test equipment company, where he led that organization’s significant financial and operational turnaround. Bob also served as Vice President of Finance and Operations at Ricoh Silicon Valley, a global leader in imaging and office automation technology, and as the Chief Financial Officer of eSOLD.com, an innovative business to business internet provider of marketing services to the real estate and mortgage brokerage industries. |
